Net Zero Carbon Emission
At EverestShaan, we are dedicated to achieving net zero carbon emissions. Our operations are powered by electricity from the Nepal Electricity Authority, sourced from the country’s abundant hydropower resources. Additionally, our farms and trees contribute to carbon sequestration, actively reducing greenhouse gases in the environment.
Forest Positive Strategy
Cardamom plants flourish in shaded environments, and we support this natural requirement through extensive afforestation efforts. By planting additional trees, we not only create optimal conditions for cardamom cultivation but also enhance the surrounding ecosystem.
Sustainable Raw Materials
Our commitment to sustainable sourcing is designed to promote regenerative food systems on a large scale. We believe that transforming agricultural practices can positively impact people, nature, and the climate. High-quality ingredients, along with the health of the soils and ecosystems in which they are grown, are at the core of everything we produce.
Zero Waste
We prioritize zero waste in our production processes. All byproducts generated during production are repurposed to create new products derived from large cardamom, ensuring that nothing goes to waste.
Supporting the Community
Apart from our CSR activities, We are deeply committed to uplifting our community by providing both direct and indirect employment to over 10,000 individuals from diverse backgrounds. Our impact extends to cardamom workers on our farms, local farmers, traders, custom agents, transport providers, banks, and many others involved in the cardamom industry. Furthermore, our research and product development initiatives have the potential to benefit other agricultural sectors as well.
